Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 16, 2026
This website is operated by Doug Beasley, founder of DBDB Digital Studios.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how DBDB Digital Studios handles information when you visit dbdbdigitalstudios.com or contact us at dbdbdigitalstudios@gmail.com.
It covers the website and email correspondence, including messages you send for product support. It does not describe how information is handled within the DBDB Scribe or DBDB Communities applications.
Website hosting
We use Google Firebase Hosting to host this website. When you visit, Firebase Hosting processes your IP address to detect abuse and provide usage analysis for the hosting service.
According to Google, Firebase Hosting retains this IP-address data for a few months. Google’s Firebase privacy and security documentation provides more information about this processing.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other optional visitor-tracking tools on this website.
Our hosting provider still processes technical information as described in the Website hosting section.
Browser privacy signals
We do not use this website to track your activity over time and across other websites for advertising. We do not embed advertising networks or cross-site tracking tools. Our website does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track setting. Technical processing described in the Website hosting section still occurs.
Information you provide when contacting us
When you email DBDB Digital Studios at dbdbdigitalstudios@gmail.com, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message or attachments.
We use this information to respond to your questions, provide support, and handle privacy or data requests.
Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information that is unnecessary to explain your request.
How long we keep support emails
We keep support emails for as long as needed to handle your request and related follow-up. We periodically review resolved conversations and delete messages we no longer need.
Some messages may be kept longer when there is a specific continuing business need or legal reason.
Deleting a message from our inbox does not necessarily remove it immediately from Google’s systems. Google’s retention and deletion policies also apply.
Our email service provider
We use Google’s Gmail service to receive and manage support emails. Emails and attachments you send us are processed and stored by Google as part of providing that service.
Google’s Privacy Policy provides more information about how Google handles this information.
Privacy questions and requests
For questions about this website’s privacy practices, or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information covered by this policy, contact dbdbdigitalstudios@gmail.com. We will review your request and respond as required by applicable law.
Where possible, send your request from the email address you previously used to contact us. Before disclosing personal information or acting on a request, we may ask for limited additional information to confirm that the request relates to you.
Please do not include passwords, identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information in your initial request.
App Store links
This website provides links to DBDB Scribe’s listing on Apple’s App Store. The QR code uses an Apple short link to reach that listing.
When you open these links, Apple may process information about your visit, device, or use of its services. Apple’s Privacy Policy and App Store privacy information explain how Apple handles that information.
Scribe support hosted on GitHub
The DBDB Scribe support page linked from this website is hosted on GitHub Pages.
When you visit that page, GitHub records your IP address for security purposes, whether or not you are signed in to GitHub. GitHub’s Privacy Statement provides more information about how it handles this information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the website or our privacy practices. We will post the revised policy on this page and identify when it takes effect.
If we make significant changes to how we handle personal information, we will also post a notice on the website. We will provide any additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
